Daily Maintenance of Charging Stations

Leave a message

1. Regularly Clean the Charging Station

  • Outer Shell Cleaning: Wipe the surface of the charging station with a dry, soft cloth to avoid dust, rainwater, or corrosive liquid residue.
  • Charging Gun and Interface: Inspect and clean the metal contacts to prevent oxidation or dirt from affecting conductivity (use electronic cleaner or alcohol wipes for gentle cleaning).
  • Screen and Buttons: Avoid wiping the touchscreen directly with a damp cloth to prevent water ingress and short circuits.

2. Inspect Cables and Charging Gun

  • Cable Condition: Observe the charging cable for wear, cracks, or aging to prevent leakage due to damaged insulation.
  • Charging Gun Protection: Return the charging gun to its proper place after use; avoid dragging or crushing it to prevent damage to internal circuitry.

3. Ensure Good Heat Dissipation

  • Charging stations (especially fast charging stations) generate heat during operation. Maintain good ventilation and avoid direct sunlight or enclosed environments.
  • Regularly check the cooling fan (if applicable) to ensure it is operating properly to prevent overheating and component damage.
