How Charging Stations Work

The working principle of a charging station mainly includes the following steps:

Vehicle Identification

The charging station confirms the vehicle's battery status and required charging parameters by reading information from the electric vehicle's Battery Management System (BMS).

Connection Establishment

A physical connection is established between the charging station and the electric vehicle via a charging interface and cable, and data transmission and control are performed through a communication protocol.

Charging Begins

After successful confirmation, the charging station supplies power to the electric vehicle's battery pack according to a preset charging strategy. Simultaneously, the charging station monitors parameters such as current and voltage in real time during the charging process to ensure safety and stability.

Charging Ends

When the battery level reaches the preset value or the user manually stops charging, the charging station automatically cuts off the power and disconnects the connection. At this point, the user can unplug the charging gun and pay the corresponding fees.
